I just ate a "flavoured muffin". What do you think that means? They look like blueberry muffins, they smell and taste like them... I probably don't really want to know what is in it, though. Junk and "flavouring" most likely.

I am up late right now working on a project for tomorrow. We are having another "Big Questions" seminar/Q&A session where students can bring their non-christian friends and discuss whatever the topic of the night is. Tomorrow the topic is the reliability of Scripture and the evidence for the resurrection.

The evidence that substantiates the claims of Christianity are overwhelmingly huge. Before, I did not doubt there was evidence, but I didn't know the volume was so immense. I tried to look at things objectively so I wouldn't just agree with what I read simply because I was a Christian. Looking at it as impersonally I could, simply from the evidence (archaeological, historical, logical, extra-biblical literature, and the list goes on...) I cannot conclude anything except that the Bible is (at the very least HISTORICALLY) reliable, and that the resurrection really did occur. The amount of evidence (versus arguments against Christianity) is more than a tidal wave... it's like a tsunami! It hasn't been a piece of cake, but I think every Christian should make the effort and look in to this. Even after a few more days studying it, my faith has been really strengthened and I feel much more ready to "give an answer for the hope that is in me".

Today I was on the way to my choir practice and it started drizzling (what a surprise)... but then I looked up in the sky and saw these 2 GIGANTIC rainbows in the sky--they were thicker and the colours more intense than rainbows usually are, and they didn't disappear in the sky, but where really vivid from one end all the way to the other. It's so cool to look at those and think that a few thousand years ago, God made the first rainbow, as a promise.

Well, back to my mystery muffin and seminar.

Music: some mindless classical fluff
Mood: sleepy but cheerful
