Well, I figured engagement was a good enough reason to drag my blogspot out of the closet and type a few things. :)
It has been a little over 2 weeks since Tim and I got engaged! Since then we took a bit of a planning hiatus so we could jus enjoy being engaged (which was not hard) ... so today Tim called around to a few reception joints to see what's what. We're looking at December.
I have also been shopping for wedding dresses which is fun but can also feel just slightly bizzarre, maybe cos I've been wondering what this would be like for 22 years. Woah.
Mom's going to come stay with me in May and we're going to do lots of wedding stuff and have loads of "Sanctuary Time". Sanctuary Time is where we sit in one's boudoir and I pick her brain about life. Quality.
Stanley (my aged, portly, pipe-smoking neighbour) is great. He stands out on the front porch and smokes pretty much all day every day. His smoke stinks up the whole building, and he drools due to the pipe being clamped between his teeth, but he has got such a genial disposition and always asks how things are with Navs and how Tim is doing, and gives me a daily weather update. Bless 'im!
Electricians are evil. They make your house work. But they're evil. At least mine is.
