So here are a couple of snaps from Barcelona. Enjoy. :-)
Life has been muy bueno since our return 2 weeks ago. There are still several boxes unpacked as of yet, and many thank you notes unwritten. But slow and steady wins the race, right?! Tomorrow is Tim's 25th birthday and I've got a few things up my sleeve. I LOVE surprising other people, hope they don't mind being on the receiving end...

Recently I keep finding things like old letters/ prayers I wrote in my journals which continually blow me away with the massiveness of God's plan and faithfulness. Just read one journal entry where I said I didn't know how I would ever make it over to England (that's where I was headed at the time!) and how things would ever work out... it was a mountain too hard to climb, I thought. "Of course," I wrote, "Maybe God's got some kind of ski lift worked out that He just hasn't told me about yet." How I laughed when I read that! And cried a bit. God's too big.

Last night we had a sort of flat warming party... sometimes we play poker (not for money, just with chips) with our friends and make a fun event of it. We've had the "Tom Schmidt Summer Cup", the "October Lucky Horseshoe" and last night was the "Packer Honeymoon High Stakes" in honour of our recent marriage. :-) And... it was a black tie event! So I wore my wedding dress and shocked them all. Well, might as well get at least one more wear out of it! Loads of fun. Even Tim's old flatmate joined in the game from Las Vegas via the internet/ webcam, and won. Life's funny.
