Isn't she beautiful?
That's my kid sister Skylar! What a babe.

Well, the last couple weeks since we got back from Texas have been close to mayhem. Not in the chaotic sense, but just had a very full list of things to do. One of which included being the editor-in-chief of the new Navs Bible study materials. Look in that little window on the bottom left hand side of the screen, and go to "navs". Then click on "resources" and then "glad you asked studies" to see them. I think they're going to be pretty neat, if I do say so myself.

There's this little kid who lives across the street and one floor down from us. He is so funny to watch as I type... he runs around the living room, molests the cat, and generally flops all over the place like some kind of half-baked ninja warrior.

The next project on the books: the Navs weekend away (jan 20-22). Since November Tim, me, and a bunch of Navs students have been planning every detail of this retreat. Everything from booking mini buses to planning the food menu and budget, arranging cooks, main speaker, seminar topics/speakers, entertainments, publicity, accommodation, worship, audio/visual, childcare, fund-raising, info/note-taking booklets, and more! Oh yeah, and hopefully around 100 people will come. Yikes! It's been amazing to watch the students really step up to this challenge and do well. It makes me want to get students alot more involved in organizational stuff in the future, because we all learn so much, and are brought together as a team. Pretty exciting. I will let you know how it goes.

Current mood: Well, it's dark, rainy and cold. But life is good.
Current music: With No Shoes - The Charlatans
